Work brought me back to FRO
Ford has decided that my time isn't worth me being out at MAP
It has its plusses and minusses
+ shorter commute
- can't hide from people
+ feel like i'm getting stuff done again
- no sense of accomplishment
Muaamar is sending me back to MAP
Apparently they insist on having a technician on site
I argued with Muaamar about the lack of pre-planning and scheduling
If they want something done, he should be the one to set it up for me so I can knock it down
While walking along the roof back from Stamping
I discovered a tragedy in the making
I bumped into a goose next to the path
Then I spotted another goose with a flock of baby geese
The parents must have created their nest up there
but there won't be any food or water for the children
and it'll be impossible for them to drop down from the roof
I bought a larger dutch oven
I'm going to use it for frying potatoes
Hopefully, its larger size will prevent oil from spilling over the edges
First Midnight Beer of the year
The temperature has been frustrating
Not cold enough to really complain about
but not warm enough to enjoy
I bought a small power washer
I used it to clean my smaller dutch oven
The stream is powerful enough to hurt my hand
It brightened the sidewalk, but the nozzle is too small to get large cleaning jobs done quickly
It would have been quicker and better to just clean my buckets by hand
Memorial day weekend
It's not warm enough to take the boat out to the lake
It's actually warm today
I finally got around to various little tasks I've been putting off
My kitchen has been a mess for a while now
between the debris from fixing the pipe
and having mom's stuff scattered around waiting to be cleaned
It always feels good to clean up after leaving a big mess for a long time
The results feel better than if I spent all my time making sure that it never got dirty in the first place
Again, not warm enough for sailing this weekend
I'm getting worried about this summer's weather
