Head shaving day
I've found some YouTube channels that read Reddit stories
r/malicouscompliance , r/entitledparents , r/prorevenge , r/AItA
It's a bit like listening to audio books , and there is almost always a satisfying ending
Love of Kill
The creepy stalker vibe in the beginning wasn't fun
In the end , I needed a timeline explained video
I'm kinda worried about my lack of energy
The weather has finally gotten warmer
Normally, in the spring, I'd be ready to jump outside and start yardwork and outside projects
But I've been sitting inside, not even playing video games, just scrolling websites, killing time
Today , I recognized this and forced myself to go out and build the workbench in the garage
I bought the wood and screws last weekend
I parked the car in the street to give myself room to work in the garage
I laid out fourteen 2x4s and screwed them together with cross beams
I used pressure treated 4x4s for the legs
I now have a thick table that is eight feet long, four feet wide, and thirty-two inches tall
It is very heavy and a bit wobbly
I'll have to stabilize the legs with trusses
For some reason , I woke up super early , like 4am and couldn't get back to sleep
I felt completely rested , so I just started my day early
My work back pack story . . .
In 2015 , when I went back to work for PCR , I needed a laptop backpack
I bought a relatively cheap one from Microcenter
After just a few weeks , the straps started to fray and fall apart
That's when I learned the importance of having re-inforcement straps
I took the bag back to the store with the receipt
but the girl behind the counter wouldn't give me a refund because I didn't buy the extended warranty
I left a negative review on their website
The next day , I got a call from the store manager telling me to come back and they'd give me a better bag for free
I was glad to have a better bag
but after that I found that my bad review was removed from their website
Now I don't trust any of their reviews , certainly not the 5-star reviews
After one year that bag had popped almost all of its zippers
and its seams had torn open
I did my best to keep it together with clips and safety pins
but today , the zipper on the main pouch popped open and wouldn't work any more
So I ran up to Microcenter , and bought an equivalent bag
I needed a back pack that will safely hold my laptop
and have enough space for my work tools and lunch
I took a picture of it on its first day to document how well it will hold up while I use it over the years
What really kills me is that I still have my school back pack
that survived highschool , college , and a few early years of PCR
Driving back from Madison Heights , I decided to take the long way , and drive through Southfield
It seemed odd , how just after a few years , I had completely forgotten about the area
Not much had really changed , but I had a hard time mentally rewinding time
I bleached my hair tonight
The idea is that I turn my current hair blond while it's short
Then as my roots grow out , I'll end up with darker hair and lighter tips
Fast and the Furious
Lawn care day
Edged , mowed , blew , and trimmed the tree in the front yard
In the middle of the back yard lawn , there are some pretty white flowers
So I decided to not mow the back yard yet
I think the neighbors moved out
A U-Haul truck was in their driveway
I'm pretty sure they were renting
I waved as they left
I never knew their names
I finished building the work bench
The legs are much more stable now
There was an old shelf where the workbench is now
Instead of throwing it out , I mounted it on the wall near the garage door
I misjudged how much clearance the door needed , so I had to chop off a corner of the shelf to make sure the door could pass
I did a little spring cleaning and shoved some stuff onto the driveway
I reworked the trailer to make it more stable and ready to carry dirt and stones
I tried to get the kayak backpack working but couldn't get it comfortable
