Head shavin' day
I've gotten quicker at it
It only takes about twenty minutes now
The trick is to not go too fast , or you'll jam up the blades
You know when you close your eyes and press your hands into them and see "fireworks"
Sometimes I see the fireworks when my eyes are open
I can still see , but it's hard to read or see any fine detail
I think it's a problem more with my brain than my eyes
because when I close either eye , the issue persists
It only goes on for a few minutes
I imagine I'm having a stroke of some sort
I guess I should be worried about it
but it's been happening since I was in school
and I can go years without an incident
This morning it happened when I woke up
and again a little while later at work
I'm not broken
I was poorly assembled
Today is Labor Day
I'm wondering , did i waste the summer ?
Lakes of Fire , tubing , a few days sailing , kayak
I feel like I spent too many days stuck in the air conditioned office
and then went straight home to play video games
I've got another tooth that started to hurt
The one on the top right side that chipped in half
Any time I eat any thing sugary or cold , it hurts a lot
I try to ignore the pain , but I end up having to floss brush and mouthwash the pain away
I guess my neighborhood has a higher Mexican population than I thought
I visited a mexican store \ take-out restaurant
The girl behind the counter spoke almost no english
I tried to order a soft taco and bean burrito
I ended up with a large lump of shreded steak wrapped in a torilla
What I was hoping for was a higher quality version of what I get at Del Taco
I tried experimenting with cooking with my own tortillas again
I'm starting easy by making a quesadilla
just melting some cheese on a tortilla in a pan then rolling it up
it's pretty much just a grilled cheese sandwich
37 lottery tickets since January
23 tickets matched zero numbers
14 tickets matched only one number
one of those was a power ball , so I won $2
I'm going to research the other lottery games to see if I can find better odds than the MegaBall
The grass hasn't been growing much
but the weeds are getting tall
so I mowed , edged , and blew the lawn
I don't think much of people that say "I love you"
(not that anybody has ever said it to me )
After a while , it becomes empty words
I'd prefer people to explain what they like about the person

Every other weekend , I schedule a trip to the laundromat
Typically , because that's when I run out of clean clothes and towels
I guess I wasn't paying attention , because suddenly I was out of socks
So today I'm going to the laundromat during my lunch break
Sometimes I fantasize about being reincarnated as a woman
Now I'm wondering
What if this time , I was a woman , and got reborn as a man , just without my previous memories
The Ohio Pawpaw Fest was this weekend
I was fully planning on going
but I procrastinated too much in the morning
and the drive was longer than I thought it would be
When I got in the car , the GPS said I wouldn't get there until after 2pm
So after a mile , I turned around and went back home
I wanted to buy my own pawpaw tree
maybe I'll try to buy a couple online
The wind and weather were finally a perfect day for sailing
After being denied for so long , and knowing it would be the last nice weekend of the year
I spent a lot longer out on the water than I normally would
and constantly chugged beer

Another video game idea
Inspired by 'No Man's Sky' and 'Factorio'
I'm calling it "Torus"
A torus is a doughnut shape
The game area is a ring-world around a sun
It will be the size of the Earth's orbit , so you've got a playfield millions of times the area of the planet Earth
Every player will be randomly dropped into the world (your ship crashed) , and have to survive
The idea from No Man's Sky is that there is only one game server , so it's possible (but unlikely) to bump into your friends
The idea from Factorio is that you have to build an automated power supply to keep your shield up
The more advanced your factory is , the larger your shield is
Without a shield , other players and NPCs can come and ruin your base
If you stop logging into the game and neglect your base , the shield will start shrinking
I'm thinking a voxel based playfield , like Minecraft
Since the world is so large , there is a chance that you'll never encounter another player
Eventually you'll be able to build a radio , and talk to far away people and connect to the world's internet
The Torus world will have been created by some technically advanced species
and you can venture out and find some abandoned stations that the builders left behind
A day\night cycle will be simulated by large panels periodically blocking out the sun
There will be a lava flow running around the center of the torus
The torus will slowly spin into itself , creating geological changes over eons
You won't be able to go to the 'dark side' of the ring without freezing to death
You were able to salvage your crashed ship's AI
It will help you research technology , and give you somebody to talk to

It doesn't bother me when other people see me naked
I wish other people felt the same
(especially women)
I've come up with reasons why other people might not want other people to see them naked
They think "only my husband \ wife is allowed to see me naked"
"i think my body is unattractive"
"i don't like you , and don't want to give you the pleasure of seeing me naked"
"you'll get mad and call the cops"
"being pointed at and stared at is uncomfortable"
I'm only worried about people getting mad when they see me naked
