On your birthday
Every choice has extra signifigance
and every disappointment is more tragic

Tommy sent me $100 for my birthday
So I spent it on lunch and dinner
I got an overly large burrito from a permanent(?) food truck
and I went to the Oakwood Grill for beers
It is super hot and really windy
a perfect day for sailing
and I'm stuck inside an air conditioned office
I was packed up and ready to go earlier than I needed to be
So I spent a couple of hours playing games before leaving
The drive up was uneventful
I was a bit disappointed that my campsite is packed away in a quiet corner
I set up the movie screen , and watched Angel Has Fallen
I really hope I don't turn into one of those people that nitpicks every movie
instead of just enjoying it
I decided to go party hopping
I didn't hang out at any place for more than a few minutes
When I checked in , they gave me a 12pm bus trip to the bridge
I showed up at 10am and begged my way onto the earlier bus
There are many large rocks in the river
and it's not so easy to find "my rock"
I once mistook an up river rock for my rock
This time , I found my rock , but thought it was too small to be my rock , so I didn't stay on it for long
I think the river was deeper this year
I found another larger rock , that I may use from now on
I've never "earned" some beads before
but today I got some after showing my dick and ass
People often ask "what's under that kilt?"
then they get mad when I show them
I've found a better response
Now I say "there's A LOT under this kilt"
I stayed on that rock for a couple of hours before moving on
Between the strong beers I had last night , and all the Mikes' I've been drinking today
I was hungover drunk and tired
so I curled up into my tube and drifted down the river for a while
Unfortunately , I only saw half of a bare boob this time
I really wish I could bring my own naked woman with me on these trips
After a shower and a nap
I watched 13 Bridges , and Dolittle
I dragged myself out of bed and packed up my camp
I enjoyed most of the drive home , because I was able to follow a camper that was only going 65MPH
I was expecting the construction on i96
and traffic was flowing smoothly until it came to a complete stop due to some accident
I was waiting patiently until I got a whiff of some burning chemical
"uh oh , smells like somebody is over heating . . . oh shit ! it's me !"
I quickly pulled over and waited for it to cool off
I spread my hammock over the windshield to protect myself from the sun

You could tell that Neil Gaiman worked closely on the project
I had been trying to read the original comic for a long time now
and I finally got around to it this weekend
We left for Wisconsin at about 6pm
Annie , Liam , Patti , and Isabella (?)
Annie's new Bronco is terrible for road trips
The soft roof causes a lot of wind noise and the seats aren't really comfortable
We didn't talk much as we travelled
but at one point Annie started arguing that the earth is flat
I was hoping she was kidding but apparently not
So I just quietly agreed with her until she stopped talking
She is the second seemingly rational person that has tried to convince me of the flat earth argument
The other was Chris Jamison
I think these people are more intrested in trying to convince somebody of their side
rather than talking about geological formations that they find interesting
We got to Madison at about midnight , local time
Annie and Patti stopped at a hotel
Carley picked me up and took me to her place
I went right into the bed she provided
Louis drove me and mom to the restaurant
The local people sat around the table with Katy
Then Mom , Patti , Tommy , Annie , and I each walked in and surprised Katy
Carley chartered a boat to ferry us around Lake Mendota
It was a really big pontoon house boat
I didn't realize Madison was a college town
We pulled into the city dock and picked up a few more family members
Then we stopped in the middle of the lake and swam for a bit
The skipper was a really nice guy
He mentioned a dangerous buoy in the middle of the lake
If I ever go back to Madison , I'm going to bring my boat and see what the buoy is about
After party at Carley's house
Drove back to Michigan , minus Isabella
At one point Patti started talking about how great some politician is
She was reading off of the politician's personal website
I started reading off of Wikipedia , and suggested that her website is biased
Then we argued about other things
I will not force my lifestyle upon others , as others force their lifestyle on me
If you were doing the same things as i was , then we would both be content and not irked by each other

The MC is overpowered , but mostly through his hard work
Unfortunately , the manga isn't that far along , so I'll have to wait a long time for the story to progress
After the family trip
I had resolved to ignore incomming calls for a long time
I was surprised to hear a lot of calls and texts on my phone so soon
I assumed it was just everybody "like"ing some picture that somebody shared
Then mom kept calling , and I did my best not to answer her
Until I got worried that she'd send somebody over to my house
Turns out everybody caught covid some time during the party
or at least everybody that didn't get vacinated
Ford just laid off 3000 people
They were all from projects relating to gasoline engines instead of electric
I had one guy come to me and ask me to retreive some personal data from his laptop before he left
I certainly have the ability to do so , and I like to help who ever I can
but I am not looking to get into trouble with security
The warehouse is receiving hundreds of old computers every day from the laid off people

Trying to combine isekai , reverse harem , mystery , and slice of life didn't work out too well
I am wholy addicted to Raft
I was up until 6am playing it
I only got a couple hours of sleep
and I didn't get into work until very late
A strong wind storm came through and knocked out the electricity
I'm trying to keep myself entertained for as long as my batteries last
I sat outside and had a couple beers
I enjoyed how much darker it was without the street and house lights
The effect was spoiled a bit by the noise of everybody's portable generators
Power is still out this afternoon
All I need to survive is food and a safe place to sleep
I also have hot running water , and fire to cook my food
But for my perferred form of entertainment , I need electricity
and the internet
Power came back on at 11pm
