Pawpaw Fest
I drove down to Ohio to get another couple of pawpaw trees
The trees cost $65 each, the lady didn't take credit cards, and I didn't have enough cash on hand
So I signed up for Venmo and paid that way
I do not like how easy it is to take money out of my account now
I had a hard time deciding where I wanted to plant my new trees
I was planning on putting them along the street again
but I was worried about the city getting mad about it
and keeping them from getting too much sun is a pain
I put them in the backyard inside one of the open squares
I think they'll get the right mix of sun and shade
Looking in the mirror, I seem to be slightly more muscular than usual
I thought it might be from using the pull up bar
but I think it might be from lifting 80 pounds of concrete
I lift the bag from the store shelf into my cart
then from the cart into my car
then out of my car onto the garage table
then off the table into the mixing tray
then out of the tray into the form
then out of the form into the lawn
It's not a lot, and not often, but it seems to be doing me some good
Annie and Patti visited
I gave them a tour inside and out
They seem delighted by my house and the neighborhood
and horrified by the mess I live in
Annie was dropping Patti off at the airport before going to Mr Miller's funeral
I would have liked to go to see people from highschool
but I'm not interested in another funeral
I've started playing Oxygen Not Included again
I don't know why I'm so hooked on it
The mechanics are frustrating and there doesn't seem to be any win condition
I've been cheating a little, and turned it into an idler by letting my single minion doing all of the work
