I've got a new story in my head
It's about me being abducted by an alien
dropped on another planet
and having to survive by creating a factory
The idea is obviously inspired by Satisfactory
I'm having fun fleshing out the details of the story
I wish I had the talent and inclination to turn it into a web comic
My shower \ bath
I'm pleased to have a metal bath tub
it's a lot nicer than the plastic one in the Southfield house
I just with it was longer \ wider \ deeper so my whole body will fit in it
I use the shower head to fill the tub, instead of the faucet
but it takes more than thirty minutes to fill the tub because the flow is restricted by the small holes in the showerhead
I snapped some bits off the showerhead and now water flows a lot faster
I'm not "wasting" more time waiting for the tub to fill up
but it's not as relaxing
and I had almost infinite hot water because my water heater could make it hot before it ran out
I feel more fit and healthy in my old age than I did when I was younger
Mostly because I ate so much junk food as a kid
and now I'm eating lots of fruits and vegetables
I wish the adults in my life would have fed me better when I was a kid
I'm at work with nothing to do, so I'm trying to read some comics
but a co-worker has something on his mind and needs to chat with me
After a while, I realize that he's talking AT me, not TO me
He's just trying to get every thought out of his head through his mouth
Normally, I wouldn't mind, but right now I'm trying to get some reading done
This is when I realize that I'm lucky that I live alone
I would never get the chance to read, watch, or play
when there is somebody in the house that needs me to listen to them
Sleeping at night is an obligation to your body
Taking a nap in the middle of the day is a treat for yourself
Chistmas is just another day
A couple of years ago, a co-worker suggested a streaming website, flixtor.to
It's completely illegal because it shows shows from other platforms
I've been using it to watch Disney+ and new release movies
The problem with the site is that it expects you to sign up for a subscription
If you don't, you can only log on when the servers aren't full
and you can't watch things that are more than six months old
That didn't bother me much because there wasn't too much that I had to immediately watch
But for the last month, I haven't been lucky enough to get in
so I decided to try other such websites
I found one that lets me watch everything with just a single ad before it starts
I'm using it to go through my to-watch list
Rick and Morty, Doctor Who, Sisu, Lucifer, etc
Tommy came into town, so Annie invited us out to lunch with Mom and Liam
I decided to re-read all of my blog entries for the past year
I didn't find an epiphany
but I was reminded how much fun I packed into the year
