Head shaving day
For some reason, I decided to grow out my goatee again
I guess I'm going for the Walter White look
I've been procrastinating on maintaining my lawn
The city put another warning on my door
So I spent the day mowing, and edging the front lawn
I didn't mow the back yard , because there are a bunch of flowers poking up through the grass
I'm hoping that the city won't mind and I can let the back yard run wild
I had my shirt off while outside yesterday
and of course, today, my back is all sunburnt
I'm cutting sugar out of my diet again
in an effort to slim down for bathing suit season
I'm replacing pop with lemon water again
I take a whole lemon, peel off the rind, and throw it into the blender
I'm trying to use honey as a white sugar substitute, but the flavor isn't so great
I wanted to eat macademia nuts, but they're too expensive, so I'm going with almonds
When I moved in to the house, the neighbor had put a basketball net in the street, which attracted a bunch of neighborhood kids
Luckily, they took it down and it hasn't been an annoyance since
But recently, there's a group of kids that have decided that my garage door is a soccer goal
They start playing the moment they get off the bus in front of my house
I decided to stand and watch them, waiting for them to kick the ball into my door
When they did, I ran out and told them off
One of the kids was trying to bargain with me ?
saying "just one more time"
I told them "no, I don't want you beating on my door"
My microwave decided to stop working
So I had to buy a new one
Good news !
I haven't killed my pawpaw tree yet
It's sprouted leaves, so I guess that means the soil hasnt poisoned it yet
I heard that young pawpaw trees can't stand strong direct sunlight
So I built a cage around it covering it with burlap
I'm hoping that it doesn't block too much of the sun
Sleep, Creep, then Leap
I'm worried that I'm not more excited that the weather is getting warmer
Normally, I'd be all energetic and geting outside as much as possible
And I'm not super exicited about all of my summer plans, LoF, camping, sailing, etc
stab her in the ovaries, and kick him in the balls until they pop i don't know what kind of parents you had, but mine sucked
There is a hole in the ceiling that leads to the attic
It's usually covered by a plank of wood, but I decided to keep it uncovered
There's a single lightbulb up there that burned out
I screwed in an LED bulb that should last for a long time
It's a bit odd having a shaft of light come down from the ceiling in an otherwise dark house
Having climbed up there , I can see there is a lot of space up there , but I'll probably never use it
A neighbor on the other street came over to chat for a bit
He wanted me to sign a form saying he could block off the street for a party
We talked about houses and kids and trees
It's Memorial Day weekend
I checked the forcast, and today is the only warm day that isn't going to rain
I wasn't expecting the wind to blow out of the north so much
I had to jump out of the boat to keep from hitting somebody , and dunked the sail
I got frustrated from the wind blowing directly from the dock , and jumped out of the boat , and walked it to shore
The car key got wet , and gave me the "key not detected" message
Luckily, the spare key worked
I was out on the water for a lot longer than usual
That night, I was feeling dizzy
Probably both from the waves and the beer
The Yukka plants I had planted on the corner are all sprouting at once
I was expecting one of them to grow really tall
but some asshole snapped the top off of it
I'm thinking of putting out a sign chastizing the asshole
but I'm worried about retaliation
I fucking hate that my house is next to a bus stop
and that there are so many kids of all ages walking around
